ABOUT
Hi, I’m Sue.
I live in Seoul and write Seoul Edit Blog, a personal blog about Korean cafés, food, beauty, culture, travel, and the small everyday things that make life in Korea interesting.
I started this blog because a lot of Korea guides online feel either too generic, too outdated, or written by people who do not actually spend time here. I wanted to make something more personal, useful, and easy to read.
What I write about
Seoul Edit Blog covers cafés, neighborhoods, Korean food, K-beauty, shopping, seasonal guides, culture trends, and practical Korea travel tips. Some posts are based on places I visit myself, while others are based on research, local reporting, and my experience living in Seoul.
Seoul cafés and dessert spots
Korean beauty and Olive Young guides
Korean food, snacks, and convenience store finds
Seoul travel tips for first-time visitors
Korean culture, lifestyle, and social trends
Seasonal guides for spring, summer, rainy season, and winter
Why I write this blog
Seoul is exciting, but planning around it can be confusing. A café can look beautiful online but be hard to reach, too crowded, overpriced, or not actually worth saving. A travel tip can sound helpful until you try using it in real life.
My goal is to make guides that feel honest and practical, not just pretty. I care about the mood of a place, how easy it is to get there, what it is good for, and whether I would actually recommend it to a friend.
How I choose what to publish
I try to write posts that answer real questions people have before visiting or living in Korea. I also update the blog as I learn more, find better photos, or notice something has changed.
Some posts include affiliate links. If you buy through those links, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only include products or links that fit the topic and would make sense for readers.
